"Cinabar rhododendron about to bloom" along the ancient Kamakura Road

in Musashi-kyuryou National Government Park, Hiki District, Saitama Pref.

On April 17 of 2019 at around10:00, I entered Musashi-kyuryou National Government Park

from its south gate and walked along the Ancient Kamakura Road where cinabar rhododendron

was about to bloom. Then I standed the canvas on the easel and started oil painting.

My wife also started drawing by pastel on the schetchbook.

It was cloudy all day long without sunshine. I ended painting at 16:00.

I resumed painting at 11:30 on april 20, a fine day with enough sunshine

which makes the trunk of the red pine tree look so warm with fresh cinabar rhododendron

in the streaming sunshine through the red pine trees.

This article was completed at around 15:40 on that day on site.
