"The spring has come around" in satoyama ,Ranzan Town ,Hiki District, Saitama Pref.

On Mar 24, 2017 , I visited satoyama behind the farmers' market of Ranzan Town

together with my wife and grand daughter "Beni" of 3 years old who was very glad picking up acorns.

I had visited this place last two years before and drawn a sketch by charcoal along the lane.

This time I visited here to draw the same angle by oil painting, however two years abscence had changed

the landscape a little, the woods along the valley side had been cut making the scenery unbalanced.

So, I climbed up a little from the lane to draw the scenery commanding the farm fields and

confronting satoyama seen throguh the deciduous woods. I again visited here on the next day of Mar 25

and completed this picture.
