May1, 2009 from Northern Karuizawa over the Torii Pass and

through Ueda-Sugadaira JCT entered the Joushin-etu HighWay to change into

Nagano Highway at Koshoku IC and enjoyed scenery of Tanada(rice terrace) from the Service Area.

Looking around Azumino Vallay coming across "Guardians for Community" and visited

Rokusan musium and Matsumoto Castle and stayed at hotspring resort of Matsumoto.

On the next day May2,2009 drived through Azumino Valley towards the north

arriving at the foot of Mt.Hakuba and took to painting Mt,Hakuba at "OOIDE"

seen over the traditional thatched cottage located by "Hime river".
