｡ﾚAutumn Wood in Tomioka, Tokorozawa City｡ﾛ    Nov.2001

A deciduous oak wood located in Tomioka, Tokorozawa City. Over the wood,we could see an agricultural field and wood of traditional residence over there. On a holiday at the end of Nov. of 2001, I started painting this wood in the morning. The path was lead outside the wood to the field vanishing into distant wood and deep green aligned low plants along the path provablly of tea woods drew dark shadows making strong contrast against brightening reddish yellow ocher of the field soil beside them. On the next holiday, frost was found over the ground and it seemed close to the season of follen leaves. However, it became rather warm calm day without wind and the leaves from the wood fell upon the palette of paint quietly one by one and it would enter into winter in Musashino after most of the leaves having fallen out soon.
